Access Panels are groups of volunteers, including disabled people, who work together to improve physical access and wider social inclusion in their local communities.
In Scotland, the Disability Equality Scotland provides support, training and funding to 40 Panels. ​

What is an Access Panel?
Panels are made up of volunteers who work together to improve physical access and wider social inclusion in their local communities.
​
They typically consist of about a dozen representatives, made up of individuals, people from organisations, some with disabilities and others with an interest in disability and accessibility issues.
